GENERAL INFORMATION FOR SPANISH WELLS RESIDENTS

  

The various communities within Spanish Wells are governed by a Master Homeowner's Association.  That Association is referred to as the Spanish Wells Community Association, abbreviated as SWCA.

S.W.C.A Annual Fees and What's Included:

Each household unit in Spanish Wells is assessed an annual fee, payable to S.W.C.A.  Included in that fee are all costs associated with security, community beautification, common ground and road maintenance,  Comcast Cable TV reception, and various other items.  The amount of this assessment may be modified from time to time, based on community needs, and actual costs of services to be provided.  The assessment for the year 2005 was:

Per Household - $448.44 for cable TV, plus $454.80 toward the SWCA budget.

In some cases, the SWCA master fee is included in and paid as a part of condominium or homeowner association fees.

The following information will help familiarize you with the Privacy Control (Security) procedures, which apply to Spanish Wells.

EXPECTED GUEST OR VISITORS

Depending on where you live, please call the main gate at 992-9016 or the Marbella Gate at 949-1826 in advance when you are expecting a visitor.

FREQUENT VISITOR

Each resident or renter should obtain a registration sheet at the gatehouse. On the back of the registration sheet is a place to put all the visitors you wish to permit entry without being notified.  This might include friends, relatives, clergy, home care, etc.  The sheet is returned to the gate and the information is subsequently placed in the computer under your name.

BAR CODES

Bar codes may be issued to the immediate family members, friends, and others who may also be placed on the frequent visitor list for entry.  They should not be authorized for people you would not want to arrive unauthorized.  The cost is $12.00 per vehicle for the calendar year.  If you switch vehicles, a $12.00 transfer fee is charged for a new bar code. Bar Codes expire the last day of each year and must be renewed to stay active regardless of when they are purchased.

SERVICE, CONTRACTOR, VENDOR, AND DELIVERY HOURS OF OPERATION

The gates are open for deliveries, service people, contractors, and vendors Monday-Friday from 7:oo AM to 65:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM and closed on Sundays and holidays.  Depending on where you live, please call the Main Gate at 992-9016 of the Marbella Gate at 949-1826 if you are expecting service vehicles, contractors, deliveries, or work personnel.  All vehicles and personnel in these categories must be off the property by 6:00 PM on weekdays and 4:00 PM on Saturdays.

If work needs to be extended after hours in an emergency, contact the Privacy Control Supervisor at 947-4189 to make arrangements.
