The
courses at Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club are among the finest and most
picturesque in
Reciprocal play is accepted June through October with the PGA Passport and other privileged cards. The course is closed on Mondays June through September. There is an aquatic driving range at the club. The club hosts the Culinary Classic and the Southwest Florida Senior's Tournaments.
All
27 holes are mature. The original 18
were built in 1979 with an additional nine in 1997.
With multiple tee locations, the courses offer a unique combination of
variety, strategy and fairness, with play from 5,000 to 6,800 yards. With
a low member-to-hole ratio and an eight day advance sign up, tee times are
readily available. From the tees, a
player can enjoy the towering palms, pines and other deciduous trees lining the
fairways. The lakes, fed by natural
springs, add to the visual enjoyment with water views on 24 of the 27 holes!
The
greens are mature and designed for quick drainage.

A large putting green is adjacent to the pro shop and the golf cart parking area.
The practice range at Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club has in excess of 20 player locations.
The large all grass teeing area allows player locations to be moved as needed to allow the grass rapid renewal.
Adjacent to the practice range is a 100 yard practice pitching and chipping fairway along with a separate practice area for sand play and target greens.
