Saturday morning, the rains finally stopped... only a few intermittent showers fell the remainder of the day. The worst seemed behind us... now all we had to do was wait for the waters to recede. Sunday morning, the sun was shining... but in the early afternoon, yet another deluge hit. The already super saturated ground just couldn't hold any more water... and the flooding was even worse. We've all heard that the fairways are narrow and there are plenty of water hazards on the golf course, but now narrow fairways and water hazards have been given new definition. It will likely be a couple of weeks before the golf course will be playable again, and that of course assumes that no more named storms come our way in the near future!
It's likely you will recognize some of the locations below... Did you ever think that this could happen?
